Because of some legal issues with Paramount, we may never get a solo Hulk movie again, but Mark Ruffalo is set to return as the strongest Avenger in She-Hulk; and after months of waiting and speculation, Marvel Studios has finally given us a look at the show.
Watch the first trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law:
Here’s the official synopsis:
“She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” follows Jennifer Walters as she navigates the complicated life of a single, 30-something attorney who also happens to be a green 6-foot-7-inch superpowered hulk.
While shows like Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel have been shown to be taking the superhero direction, it seems that She-Hulk is really embracing the slice-of-life, lawyer genre—but adding in a superhero element in which Jennifer transforms into She-Hulk.
Though we know what kind of stories to expect with a character like the Hulk, it seems that She-Hulk will be leaning more into the dual identities of Jennifer, with a look at her dating life, as well as the press that’s surrounding her superhero identity after she made the transformation.
While people enjoy the usual MCU fare, I’ve always been eager for the smaller, more experimental stories. If anything, Hawkeye is still my favorite spinoff, because it happens in a smaller scale, and it’s kind of a Christmas story, heist movie. I’m hoping that She-Hulk manages to add some more flavour to the MCU rather than just be another superhero with a unique quirk.
She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premieres on Disney+ on Aug. 17.
