Brand New Sherlock Trailer Shows How Out of Touch Sherlock Really Is

We’ve finally got a brand new trailer for Sherlock’s upcoming third season.

The new BBC clip advertising the first episode of the new season “The Empty Hearse,” shows Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) returning to London some two years after his faked death.

However when he casually suggests popping around to 221 B Baker Street (with a cake) to surprise Watson (Martin Freeman) he receives some unsettling news from Mycroft (Mark Gatiss).

“Bakers Street isn’t there any more,” explains Mycroft. “It’s been two years. He’s got on with his life.”

“What life?” demands a bemused Sherlock. “I’ve been away.”

Some things never change.

Catch “The Empty Hearse” on New Year’s Day on BBC1.
