This weekend saw three new titles hitting the big screen. Immortals, which did well both domestically and in Europe, secured the number one spot, grossing $32 million. Adam Sandler’s ‘twins’ comedy Jack and Jill landed in in second place, while and Clint Eastwood’s J Edgar, starring Leonardo DiCaprio secured a more modest 5th place with $11.5 million.
