“Blindspot” Season 2 returns to NBC with a new episode on Jan. 4. This mid-season premiere will reveal what happens next to Patterson (Ashley Johnson) who has figured out the Sandstorm mole. Meanwhile, Jane (Jaimie Alexander) and Roman (Luke Mitchell) are expected to return to FBI. What happens next to Shepherd (Michelle Hurd), Kurt Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) and Nas Kamal (Archie Panjabi)? Spoiler alert!
Blindspot Season 2 Returns Soon; Is Patterson Alive?
In the mid-season finale of Blindspot Season 2, Patterson (Ashley Johnson) fights for her life after realizing that she was dating the Sandstorm mole. Dr. Robert Borden (Ukweli Roach) does not seem to have Roman’s killer instinct. But he also seems to be determined to stay alive and out of jail.
Shepherd is expected to resurface in the second half of the series. Neither Jane nor Roman was able to kill her at the height of their confrontation. It remains to be seen whether Shepherd herself has a direct connection to Kurt.
Meanwhile, Nas is in trouble with Matthew Weitz (Aaron Abrams) for going against his back in Blindspot 2×8 (“We Fight Deaths On Thick Lone Waters”). Weller’s life was in danger, so she made a risky move with the help of Jane, Zapata (Audrey Esparza) and Reade (Rob Brown).
A lot of things have gone down in the first half of Blindspot Season 2. While waiting for the second half, the show boss has issued a spoiler to appease Patterson’s fans. “She’s going to be okay,” creator Martin Gero told Yahoo. The show boss added that Ashley Johnson’s Patterson shows some “great stuff” when placed in the midst of a great tragedy.
Blindspot Season 2 airs Wednesdays on NBC. The cast members are led by Sullivan Stapleton and Jaimie Alexander.
