Rabbits Everywhere
Even though the personal trials of our team took a backseat this episode to the case of the week, there were still enough highlights to show that the team is continuing to fall apart in their personal lives. Zapata confronted Reade again and again about his meeting with Freddy until he finally admitted that he was one of Coach Jones’ victims. Weller is waking up after nights of drinking, with his baby’s sonogram by his side, and Patterson is dealing with her upcoming “friend meeting” with Dr. Borden.
However, it does look as though they’re slowly coming around to accepting Jane again. Weller showed genuine concern when she was missing, and seemed to really be there for her when she was questioning her place on the team. Reade even stood up for Jane to Zapata, and we all know that Reade has never been a fan of Jane, so it looks like we might get the gang back together after all.
Jane however, is falling deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole of Sandstorm, and with Nas pushing her even further, it eventually is going to come to a head, and Jane will have to choose a side. It’s Blindspot, so, obviously, she’ll choose the FBI, but what will that mean for whatever Sandstorm is putting together?
The identity of the mole within the FBI was a hot topic in the Blindspot thread on Twitter tonight, with more and more people are pointing the finger at Dr. Borden. Patterson caught him speaking Arabic on the phone tonight, which raised some red flags, but I’m going to give him this one – that he was actually ordering dinner – because as I said last week, he’s my number one guess, but I don’t think he has any contact with Sandstorm at the moment, and won’t until he’s officially activated. Until then, he’s just enjoying the burgeoning relationship with Patterson, which will undoubtedly break the hearts of Blindspotters when he’s confirmed as the mole.
There’s a lot going on this season, and so far, none of it looks promising for our team. Until next week, everyone!
