Beyonce, pregnant with twins, has left tons of fans devastated after bailing out on her co- headlining performance at this year’s Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.
The reason for the cancellation was upon her doctor’s advice saying that the singer should “keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months.” The announcement was made via post on the official Coachella Page on Facebook on Feb. 23.
The page also reassured fans that Beyonce will be headlining the 2018 Coachella festival through a confirmation from her company Parkwood Entertainment and Coachella promoter, Goldenvoice.
Beyonce’s out, Ticket Prices Drop
The singer was supposedly going to perform over two weekends on April 15 and 22, but now that Beyonce has pulled out of the festival, ticket prices drop a hefty 12 percent.
According to TicketIQ, an event ticket search engine that can track sales on both secondary and primary market, prices for weekend 1 dropped from $978 to $872 while a drop of 3 percent, $856 to $834, for weekend 2 of the festival.
Coachella hasn’t yet announced who will be replacing the ‘Lemonade’ singer. However, according to Associated Press, if her performance would have pushed through it would have been her first performance at Coachella plus the first female to headline the festival since Bjork in 2007.
Fans, upon finding out the news, took to twitter to express their disappointment and expectations with Coachella.
Some fans are so heartbroken:
