The Bachelorette: Rachel Lindsay

First appearing on Season 21 of “The Bachelor,” Rachel swiftly won the hearts of fans – and bachelor Nick Viall. However, to fans’ surprise, Rachel didn’t end up winning the ring. She only made it to the top three before Nick tearfully wished her goodbye. But thankfully for the 31-year-old attorney, Rachel soon got a second chance at love. Even before Season 21 ended, ABC picked her up to star in Season 13 of “The Bachelorette.” Rachel cemented herself in ABC history as the first African-American Bachelorette – a huge milestone for the show. Now, Rachel’s journey for love seems to finally be coming to an end.

The One-On-One Dates

Rachel picked three of the six men to go on one-on-one dates with: Bryan Abasolo, Dean Unglert, and Peter Kraus. The preview of Episode 7 shows snippets of these dates, which involve their own share or romance and drama.

The honor of the first date goes to Bryan, the chiropractor from Miami, Florida. Blasting News reported that a tweet revealed the pair driving in a fancy car, exploring Switzerland. Carter Matt also revealed that the date will be first-class, involving a trip to a world-famous watchmaker’s shop. Rachel apparently gives Bryan one of the expensive watches as a romantic keepsake of their time together. Then, the pair takes a trip to the Victoria Concert Hall to listen to the string quartet. Bryan takes the chance there to open up to Rachel about past relationship problems.

After Bryan, Rachel goes on her second one-on-one date with Dean, the startup recruiter from California. That leaves her last date with Peter, the business owner from Wisconsin. The show hasn’t revealed many details about these two dates yet. However, fans do know that the Rachel and Dean will visit Old Town Geneva. In contrast, Rachel and Peter’s date reportedly takes place somewhere in the frost Swiss Alps.

All the one-on-one dates must end up successful, because Rachel gives all three men roses, securing them in the final four.

Who Gets The Final Rose?

July 10 marks the last episode of the season to feature a group date. The final three men – Eric Bigger, Adam Gottschalk, and Matt Munson – take Rachel out as a group. While details on this date are also sparse, spoilers leaked that the final rose goes to Eric, the personal trainer from Los Angeles, California. This guarantees Eric a Hometown date.

Hometown Dates And What’s Next For The Bachelorette

The four rose recipients next get the chance to take Rachel on Hometown dates. That means Rachel gets to know the men’s different hometowns and even meet their families. Presumably, the attorney will get to check out Miami, Florida with Bryan; Venice, California with Dean; Madison, Wisconsin with Peter; and Los Angeles, California with Eric.

“The Bachelorette” also switches up its usual format a little this season. Generally, the final three enjoy a Fantasy Suite date, while the final two meet the Bachelorette’s family. This time, the final three all get to meet Rachel’s family in Dallas, Texas. Spoilers hint that Bryan, Eric, and Peter visited Rachel’s family, making them the final three.
