After adapting the Infinity Gauntlet, Marvel is now looking to do another crossover down the line with Avengers: Secret Wars. We don’t have any specific details about the film yet, but a rumor has come out that suggests who will be the reason behind the main conflict.
According to insider Daniel RPK, one key villain of Secret Wars is going to be the Beyonder—what’s more, the Beyonder will be played by Jonathan Majors, making him a variant of Kang the Conqueror. Here’s the post:

In both the Secret Wars that came out in the 80s and the mid-2010s, Doctor Doom had been a major player in the conflict, and the Beyonder was more of a cosmic being that placed everyone from several realities in ‘Battle World.’
We don’t know how Marvel plans to adapt the story, but rumor going around is that Kevin Feige isn’t only going to bring together characters from the MCU, but from other established franchises as well like Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man movies and 20th Century Fox’s X-Men timeline.
Already, I’m stressing out from the notion of coming up with a cohesive story that will bring all of these franchises together, but if they were able to pull off Endgame, I think they’re ready for another hat-trick in the form of Secret Wars.
I wonder though, after that film comes out, where would the MCU go from there?
For now, Avengers: Secret Wars is set to come out May 1, 2026. Jonathan Majors debuts as Kang in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania which hits theaters Feb. 17.
