Autobots Meet the Maximals in New Clip from Transformers: Rise of the Beasts

The Transformers films have mostly been showcasing the fight between Autobots and Decepticons, but the upcoming movie, Rise of the Beasts will be bringing in the Beast Wars factions, the Maximals and Terrorcons.

Just in, Paramount has dropped a new clip which features the Autobots running into Optimus Primal and his team of Maximals. Check this out:

If you’ve watched the previous trailers, the scene only teased a standoff between Optimus Prime and Primal, but the clip reveals that it was actually the entire team in the shot.

What I am worried about though, is that Bumblebee doesn’t appear in this scene, and some have been speculating that they could be killing him off in this movie. With Bee having starred in his own solo film, I think Paramount won’t be thinking about killing off one of the more popular characters in their billion-dollar franchise.

So far, things are looking good for Rise of the Beasts. I wasn’t expecting them to reveal Unicron in a trailer, but I guess it did get a lot more people excited for the movie.

Returning to the action and spectacle that have captured moviegoers around the world, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduce a whole new faction of Transformers – the Maximals – to join them as allies in the existing battle for earth.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is set to hit theaters on June 9.
