After almost two years after their divorce, Hollywood stars Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are working out the details of a custody arrangement for their six kids—Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne. The custody situation has always been intense between both sides.
In a report by USA Today, the Superior Court of Los Angeles allowed Pitt to have access to their six kids, saying that “the children are safe with Brad.” The court document also went on to say that “it is critical that each of them have a healthy and strong relationship with Brad.”
Furthermore, the judge also laid out a new cell phone policy where Jolie must provide Pitt with a cell number of each kid so he can communicate them without her monitoring the conversation.
Pitt will have access to the five younger kids for “four hours a day from June 8-17 in London,” since Jolie is set to film Maleficent 2 in the UK over the summer. The statement adds that Pitt must consume time with each child at least twice during the 10-day period with one of the family psychologist present. Jolie will not be around during her estranged husband’s custodial time.
Back in September of 2016, an alleged physical altercation between Pitt and Jolie occurred on a private plane, pushing Jolie to file a divorce.
Pitt, who was always mindful of the kids’ privacy, never saw it beneficial to parade them anywhere. This gave him hope that the court’s decision will allow him to be on more amicable terms with Jolie.
