America’s Got Talent’s newest episode will amaze, scare, and inspire you. It will also feature how much of a sport and how brave judge Howie Mandel is. Being an assistant for a daredevil act will take a lot of guts. Despite the guarantee of safety, the performance was still very dangerous.
In the previous episodes of America’s Got Talent, judges Simon Cowell and Howie already gave their Golden Buzzer. Mel B, on the hand, gave her Golden Buzz to an adorable teen Amanda Mena. Will Heidi Klum find her Golden Buzz recipient for tonight’s auditions?
Troy James
Troy James started the night off with a creepy contortion act. If you’ve seen The Grudge or Sadako, Troy was so close to the ghost portrayed in them. A lot of people, including judges, were frightened during the act. Troy has an undeniably flexible body. He can even walk with his body while bent and can twist it upside down. Simon, on the other hand, crossed his finger as Troy went to his side. It may be hard to bend and turn, but I think the act lacks tricks. Despite the creepy performance, the judges allowed Troy to move on to the next round.
Vivien Vajda
Vivien Vajda amazed the crowd with her jump roping tricks. Performing stunts such as backflip will take guts and skill to do it, how much more when trying to dd stunts while jump roping? IIt was Vivien’s dream to win America’s Got Talent with her amazing skills. Though it wasn’t that perfect, she still nailed it and made it to next round.
Joseph O’Brien
Boy next door Joseph O’Brien serenaded the crowd with his sweet and angelic voice. Joseph sang “Hello” by Lionel Richie while playing the keyboard. After this performance, Joseph will surely have a lot of fans knocking on his door and asking for a date. With the looks, voice, and charm, Joseph has what it takes to break through in the industry. After getting four “yes” votes, Joseph advances to the next round.
French Accent
French Accent performed one-liner puns while playing the accordion. Although the crowd enjoyed his quips, the judges didn’t. Mel, Simon, and Heidi buzzed their X button. French Accent, however, made fun of the situation. In the end, Mel and Heidi took back their X’s and voted for a yes together with Howie.
Glennis Grace
Glennis Grace sang “Run to You” by Whitney Houston. The judges even told her that she sounded similar to Houston. But then, they advised Glennis to establish her own identity. Nonetheless, Glennis sang great and got four yeses from the judges.
Kenny Thomas
This will be one of the most memorable experiences for Howie. Kenny Thomas performed an extreme motorcycle act and asked Howie to be his assistant. Kenny performed tricks with his motorcycle with Howie lying down. Howie wore a helmet for protection, but seeing him being jumped over by a bike was a bit too much to take. As for his highlight, Kenny made an impressive flip and got four “yes” votes.
Dr. Steven Eisenberg
Dr. Steven Eisenberg is an Oncologist who sings for his patients for them to at least ease the pain they are going through. His patients encouraged him to join America’s Got Talent to inspire others. Steven performed an original composition dedicated to his mother, but the dilemma here is that he couldn’t sing at all. All the judges buzzed the “X” button, prompting his mom to appeal the judges’ decision. Despite that, Steven still got a “no” from all four of them.
Rob Lake
Rob, an illusionist, amazed the crowd with his magic. Robs performed a trick where he appears on a platform that’s surrounded by volunteers—including Tyra and Heidi. The act was so well-done that we’re all left wondering how he got there without anyone seeing him. Because of this, Rob got four “yes” votes.
Brian King
Brian King, a very talented violinist, performed an impressive act despite his condition. He serves as an inspiration to a lot of people to continue their dreams despite their disabilities. Brian is suffering from a nerve disease that kills his ability to feel sensations. Because of his muscle memory and passion for music, Brian still managed to perform brilliantly and earned a standing ovation from the audience.
Andy Huggins
Though it is a little bit short, Andy Huggins’ performance left the audience laughing their asses off. Andy’s comedic chops were an innate talent. Simon, Heidi, and Howie liked his comedy act, but Mel didn’t understand his green jokes, so she said no. Despite that. Andy will still be moving on to the next round as Howie welcomed him to the entertainment industry.
Brody Ray
Brody Ray is a transgender who grew up as Natalie. He joined America’s Got Talent to show his passion for music. Brody is also one of the members of the LGBTQ+ community who want to be recognized and accepted for they are. He sang well with his rendition of “Stand in the Light” by Jordan Smith. Brody also earned a standing ovation from the audience and got four yeses from the judges.
America’s Got Talent continues with “Auditions 6” Tuesday, July 10th, at 8/9c on NBC.
