Adulting Ain’t Easy in Trailer for Close Enough Season 3

It may have taken a while to get off the ground, but J.G. Quintel’s Close Enough has found a nice new home on HBO Max. The series is set to premiere its third season, and we have a new trailer to showcase this not-so-regular family.
Seeing that the show is episodic, we can’t really expect there to be an overarching story for the entire season. What we can expect are millennial shenanigans as Josh, Emily, and the rest of their ‘family’ attempt to navigate life as parents and as single adults. We should also expect some of the trippiest visuals not too different from Quintel’s other hit show, Regular Show.
With the way that Regular Show was able to be so crazy despite its PG rating, we should expect a whole new door of surreal to be opened with Close Enough. While the series does feature drugs and sex, I have a feeling that things are still pretty tame for Quintel. Then again, it’s a fun romp, and I’m glad we’re getting more of it down the line. We’re lucky if it ends in the same kind of high not that Regular Show did.
From HBO Max and JG Quintel, comes Close Enough, a surreal animated comedy about a married couple, their five-year-old daughter, and their two divorced best friends/roommates all sharing a cramped apartment on the east side of Los Angeles. Their life may not be ideal but for now, it’s close enough.
Close Enough Season 3 premieres on HBO Max on April 7.
