A Funeral Brings Out True Colors in 6 Sneak Peeks at New Girl’s “Chicago”

Tonight’s New Girl episode sees Jess (Zooey Deschanel) and the gang in Chicago, where they attend the funeral of Nick’s (Jake Johnson) erstwhile Dad Walt (played earlier this season by Dennis Farina). However the family setting and pressures of organizing a funeral-with-a-theme soon begin to take a toll on Nick. With Winston (Lamorne Morris) and Schmidt (Max Greenfield) each facing a personal funeral-related crisis of their own, Jess is left to step up to the plate and advise and comfort Nick in his hour of need – except he doesn’t seem to want her help.
