6 Things to Know About BONES Season Finale

Where did the season go? It seems like only yesterday we were waiting to learn Booth’s fate after he was imprisoned in Bones’ season premiere, Sweets and Daisy had some big news to share, and Christine was Booth and Brennan’s only child.

But just like that, we find ourselves looking ahead to Thursday’s emotionally charged finale — and an episode that will see the Jeffersonian Institute bid a heartfelt goodbye to a beloved couple.

In “The Next in the Last” the team are forced to revisit the ugly mind of Christopher Pelant after a body is discovered bearing the serial killer’s trademark handiwork.

Meanwhile, as one couple prepares to take leave of their friends, another begins to question their decision to remain.

We’ve seen the episode a little earlier than most, thanks to our friends at FOX, and have 6 new teasers to share with you.

As usual, no major spoilers! We want you to enjoy this episode as much as we did.

Here then are 5 things to know about the final episode of the season (don’t worry, the show will return this Fall for a record eleventh season).

A Change in the Wind?

Booth may finally be home again but it looks like there have been some changes since he’s been gone, and the biggest is in Brennan’s attitude to the job.

With Angela and Hodgins about to take flight for Paris, “The Next in the Last” finds Brennan reassessing her own work priorities.

Contemplating a year of shootings, jail and gambling drama, Brennan wonders if perhaps it’s time for her family to consider a line of work with a little less danger in it.

“Don’t you think it’s time for a change?” she asks.

“Come on Bones, this is what we do,” Booth reasons.

“I know,” she replies. “For now.”

Wait, what?
