6 Teasers for Mistresses Season 2 Premiere “Rebuild”

Didn’t get enough of the steamy and shocking first season of Mistresses? Well you’re in luck because the second premiere of this sudsy summer soap is right around the corner.

Thanks to our friends at ABC, we’ve seen the premiere episode a little earlier than most, and have a handful of teasers to share which will surely get you ready for what’s to come this season.

Last summer viewers were witness to the good, the bad and the downright painful challenges of life for these four long time friends. Set eight months after the season 1 finale, the series’ second round will kick off by illustrating how much can change in so little time.

“Rebuild” is Mistresses at the top of its dramatic game. While no one has to talk out her “other woman” issues, group girl-time is just as much a necessity as it is fun and sentimental. Meanwhile, the ladies respective down and semi-alone times will lead to interesting new opportunities and a strong storyline setup. For these four women things aren’t looking quite as complicated, but their new challenges should take them to even more compelling places.

1. Love, Too, Is A Revolving Door

Last summer almost all of Mistresses’ leading ladies were romantically involved in some way, despite the line of exclusivity being a bit… blurry. This go around the tables have turned  about 180 degrees for some members of the group, while others have done a complete 360.

2. (Re)Build From The Ground Up

As you’ll see, the premiere has a rather appropriate title. All four women start this season in very different places than where we first met and where we last left them. They didn’t achieve this new found status without some serious leg work though, and “Rebuild” will sufficiently show and tell us how far they have all come in order to begin again.

3. I Say Goodbye, You Say Hello

Karen’s season one storyline left us on quite the bloody cliffhanger. The premiere wastes no time addressing what happened and who died. Just don’t expect to see the surviving half of this catastrophe anymore than the one currently six feet under.

4. Time To Call In The A-Team

Joss’ new gig is seemingly going well, but when presented with a serious challenge she calls on a familiar face to lend a mutually beneficial hand. The potential for greatness between the two will be ripe, but the nature of their relationship could stir more trouble than she asked for.

5. The Bermuda Triangle

Most of Savi’s season one storyline was spent trying to decide who she wanted in her life and how she wanted them there. However, the accident and its resulting consequences don’t just change her physically, but emotionally and mentally as well. The difference that one incident and eight months can make for this love triangle is perhaps the premiere’s biggest surprise.

6. Art Therapy

As previously stated, a friend from April’s past will emerge. With him we’ll come to know more about her and her “expressive” side. He will not be the only one helping her find her old self again though. Get ready to see April get a little artsy and hands-y in “Rebuild.”
