5 Things to Know About BONES

Bones returns on Thursday with a new episode that promises to pick up the pieces of May 14th's shocker, which ultimately saw Brennan kicking Booth to the curb following revelations about his gambling relapse.

Thursday's new episode "The Woman in the Whirlpool" will see both Brennan and Booth struggling with their new arrangement, both personally and professionally, while the team wonders if they're headed for divorce.

Meanwhile, duty calls as the body of a well-known cookie jar collector is found in the Potomac river, prompting the team to investigate the victim's collector community in order to catch the murderer.

And for once Aubrey bites off more than he can chew when he begins a flirtation with one of the Squints.

We’ve seen this episode a little earlier than most, thanks to our friends at FOX, and have 5 new teasers to share with you.

As usual, no major spoilers! We want you to enjoy this episode as much as we did.

Here then are 5 things to know about “The woman in the Whirlpool.”

Booth and Brennan 2.0?

We’re not sure what’s going on between Laura Spencer’s Jessica and John Boyd’s Aubrey, but we like it.

Blunt, honest, fond of over-ordering at dinner and having practically no filter between brain and mouth, this couple seem perfectly matched for each other — if they can ever agree that there’s a mutual attraction there in the first place, that is.

We’re not sure if Aubrey just can’t see it, isn’t interested, or is just frankly afraid of the sharp-as-knives Squintern, but this is one budding romance that may need a push if it’s going to succeed.

“We’re kind of good at this, aren’t we?” enthuses Jessica as the pair undertake a spot of parallel investigation in a creepy location.

“Booth and Brennan, 2.0?” prompts Aubrey, correcting himself a second later. “I mean expect for the being married or having babies part.”

“Or the having any kind of sex at all,” adds Jessica.

“Right. Obviously not up here with all this fiberglass and the heavy breathing.”

“I meant anywhere.”

“Right.”

They should each count to five before saying anything.
