Better stock up on the Kleenex Bones fans because Thursday’s episode is a bit of a tear jerker.
“The Lost Love in the Foreign Land” sees Brennan, Booth and the team working on the murder of an immigrant whose remains are discovered at the side of a road.
What secrets was this unfortunate young woman hiding and who killed her? The gang is determined to find out.
Expect a new suspect with each fresh development — each one seemingly more guilty than the last. However, the final truth may just surprise you.
If you’re a regular ScreenSpy reader then you’ll know we don’t go for revealing spoilers that would otherwise take away from your enjoyment of the show. However we can provide you with some teasers that we hope will keep those Bones fires burning until Thursday night!
With that in mind, here are 5 things to know about “The Lost Love in the Foreign Land.”
5. Proposals and More Proposals
Despite a sexy open, Cam is having a hard time with Arastoo this week, both personally and professionally. Blurting out the wrong thing at the wrong time carries repercussions we hope aren’t lasting.
4. Aubrey’s in the Dog House
Aubrey gets on the wrong side of Booth this week when he puts his career before the suffering of a victim, and Booth is not shy about calling him out on his insensitivity.
3. Suspect Suspects
We love it when Bones keeps the suspects coming, and this is one of those episodes. From a wealthy former employer, to a handler for legal immigrants to a sex offender and a convicted killer, each suspect in this case looks more guilty than the last. Who really dunnit and why? Did we mention to bring the Kleenex?
2. A Tragic Love Story
There’s a rather tragic love story at the center of this week’s crime which all but breaks the hearts of the team, and ours too, particularly when we hear the words “She was my heart” uttered by a heartbroken certain someone. The team deal with their sadness in different ways. Angela wants to rush home to cuddle her child, Arastoo is inspired to greatness, and Brennan and Booth dance it out.
1. Sympathy for a Killer?
Booth and Brennan discuss the murder at the center of this week’s case and wonder how they might react if placed in the same situation. It’s a conversation that makes them realize what they’ve got and how lucky they are to have it.
The “Lost Love in the Foreign Land” episode of Bones airs Thursday November 6 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
