2018 Emmy Awards: The Complete Winners List

From the usual surprises and teases to comebacks, wedding proposals, and a ton of attention on diversity, the 70th Emmy Awards did not fail to keep everyone on their toes. Hollywood stars gathered at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles to attend TV’s biggest night that was hosted by Saturday Night Live’s Colin Jost and Michael Che.
2018 Emmy Awards: Big Comebacks and Big Wins
After a year absence, Game of Thrones has come back and claimed its place on the top of the list leading the pack with 22 nominations. Coming in close are HBO’s Westworld and NBC’s Saturday Night Live with 21 nominations each. Next to those are FX’s The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story drawing 18 nominations followed by other FX show Atlanta with 16 nominations.
Among all Emmy nominees, it was the Amazon comedy series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel that took the spotlight. Out of six nominations, the show took home five in the comedy series category including Outstanding Lead Actress and Outstanding Supporting Actress. The comedy’s showrunner Amy Sherman-Palladino also became the first woman to win both Outstanding Writing and Directing Awards in the Emmy’s.
